Long established NI based potato merchants business
James Donnelly & Sons Ltd was established as a potato and general merchants in the 1940s by the late Mr James Donnelly.
The business premises were originally sited on the Gortgole Road but as the business expanded a new site was acquired at 23 Ballymacombs Road and continues to trade from this site today.
The firm was originally a potato and general merchants supplying the farming community with fertilisers and other farm essentials as well as purchasing locally grown potatoes and the selling of these throughout Ireland and the UK.
