James Donnelly & Sons Ltd is a supplier of potatoes supplier and beef dripping to the chip shop and catering trades throughout Ireland. The company also has the facility to offer storage and unit rentals based in Portglenone, County Antrim, Northern Ireland (NI). The company was originally a potato and general merchants supplying the farming community with fertilisers and other farm essentials as well as purchasing locally grown potatoes and the selling of these throughout Ireland and the UK.

How we started
1940sOur roots reach back to the 1940s when the Donnelly family began trading from a premises on Gortgole Road. As demand grew, the business expanded to a new site at 23 Ballymacombs Road, where operations continue to this day. From the beginning, the core focus was supporting local agriculture—buying, trading, and distributing potatoes, as well as providing farming supplies to the community.
